JOB DESCRIPTION FINANCE HEAD

Position Details

Job Purpose

To lead financial management for Jio Arogya, ensuring effective budgeting, accounting, cash flow, financial controls, statutory compliance, reporting and financial support to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cost control for the Jio Arogya project.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, revenue, receivables, payables and project-level financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, banking operations and centre cash controls, including reconciliation and timely deposits.
• Oversee vendor payments, procurement-related financial controls and coordination with Procurement and Supply Chain.
• Manage payroll-related finance coordination, taxation, statutory payments and other financial obligations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax, statutory and financial requirements and coordinate with auditors for internal/statutory audits.
• Establish and monitor financial controls, approval processes and risk management to prevent errors, leakage and financial irregularities.
• Monitor project/entity-wise financial performance, budgets, actuals, variances and profitability.
• Oversee fixed assets, financial records and required documentation.
• Prepare and review financial MIS, management reports, cash flow statements and variance analysis for decision-making.
• Provide financial inputs for business plans, procurement decisions, contracts, operational initiatives and resource allocation.
• Lead and guide the Finance/Accounts team and ensure timely closure of financial activities.
• Drive process improvements, automation and stronger financial controls across the project.

Qualification & Experience

• CA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent finance qualification.
• Relevant experience in healthcare, hospital, healthcare services or project finance, with team leadership experience.
