Finance Head

The Finance Head owns the company's financial management, reporting and regulatory compliance, and safeguards client premium funds.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end closing and deliver accurate financial statements to management on schedule.

• Prepare the annual budget, cash-flow forecasts and variance reports, and advise management on profitability by product line and account.

• Oversee premium collections, the client premium (fiduciary) account and timely remittance to insurers.

• Control commission income: verify computations, reconcile insurer statements and follow up unpaid commissions.

• Ensure compliance with Insurance Commission requirements for brokers, including annual statements, and license renewal filings requirements.

• Ensure accurate and timely BIR, SEC and local government filings, and manage tax planning and assessments.

• Coach and evaluate the accounting team and plan succession for key tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant preferred.

• At least 8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with 3 or more years leading a team.

• Experience in insurance broking, insurance or other regulated financial services strongly preferred.

• Working knowledge of PFRS, Philippine tax rules and Insurance Commission reporting.

• Proficient in advanced Excel.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
