Purapharm International (H.K.) Limited (HKEx: 1498) is leading Hong Kong-based Chinese Medicine Company in the R&D, production, marketing and sale of concentrated Chinese Medicine granules. To cope with our business development, we are now inviting high caliber candidates to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Intern will assist the Group Finance & Accounting team in daily finance and accounting duties, including:

• Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry, filing, invoice checking and payment documentation
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist in bank reconciliation and general ledger record checking
• Help prepare accounting schedules, reports and supporting documents
• Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial data consolidation
• Support expense claim checking and documentation
• Maintain proper filing of finance records and audit supporting documents
• Assist in ad hoc finance, accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Final-year undergraduate student in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Able to work 3–4 days per week at the Hong Kong office
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Detail-minded, responsible, well-organised and willing to learn
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Cantonese is preferred
• Able to handle confidential information with care
• Prior internship or part-time experience in accounting / finance is an advantage but not essential
