Finance Intern

As a key contributor, you will assist with financial data analysis, prepare reports, and collaborate with professionals across various finance functions to deepen your understanding of corporate finance operations.

Duties

• Assist in developing and refining financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Contribute to the analysis of financial data using spreadsheets and financial software tools
• Participate in audits and review processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Help monitor industry trends and maintain knowledge of financial regulations affecting the organization
• Collaborate on projects related to mergers & acquisitions, including due diligence support and valuation analysis
• Communicate findings clearly to team members and assist in preparing presentations for internal stakeholders

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for spreadsheets and data analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax accounting, and financial regulatory compliance
• Experience with financial software platforms used for reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and industry standards such as GAAP
• Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively through strong project management skills
• Effective client communication skills for internal collaboration and reporting purposes
• Prior experience or coursework in finance, auditing, or related fields is a plus
