Duties

• Assist in developing and refining financial models to support business initiatives and decision-making processes
• Support the preparation of financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office tools
• Participate in research and analysis related to mergers & acquisitions, industry trends, and financial regulations
• Contribute to auditing processes and ensure adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards
• Help maintain accurate records of financial transactions, compliance documentation, and tax accounting activities
• Collaborate with team members on project management tasks to streamline workflows and meet deadlines
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to gather information and clarify financial data as needed

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field with strong academic performance
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheets for analysis and modeling
• Basic understanding of financial software systems and industry-specific tools
• Knowledge of financial regulations including GAAP, tax accounting standards, and industry compliance requirements
• Strong analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Previous experience or coursework related to auditing, financial compliance, or mergers & acquisitions is a plus
• Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
