Finance Intern

The role involves performing accurate data entry into the accounting system, processing and reviewing daily financial transactions, and preparing sales invoices for all group companies. The intern will assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliation, and support the finance manager with accounting, administration, and procurement tasks. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data, collaborating with other departments for financial reporting, and contributing to the annual budgeting process are key responsibilities. Additionally, the intern will assist in preparing periodic forecasts and variance analysis, work effectively to meet deadlines, and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
• Good in Microsoft Office Skills and if possible accounting systems (Quickbooks)
• Detail oriented, organized and possess good time management skills
• Hands-on and get things done attitude (to bring solutions and ideas to our daily operation needs)
• Strong sense of prioritization and structured mindset (to cover multiple things at the same time without compromising on quality)
• Able to work in a fast-paced working environment
• Having a good and positive mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,200.00 per month
