Finance Intern

What will you be doing?

• Supporting the Central Finance team with day-to-day financial activities and processes
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, management information and ad hoc analyses
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring processes, including analysis of actuals versus budget
• Assisting with month-end activities, including data preparation, validation and reconciliation
• Supporting the review and analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness
• Helping with finance-related operational activities, including invoices, payments and other financial documentation
• Supporting audit-related activities and preparation of information and documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Cooperating with other teams across the business to collect, validate and explain financial information
• Participating in finance-related projects, process improvements and automation initiatives
• Assisting the team with other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities based on business needs

What are we looking for?

• A student or recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related field
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and confidence in working with data
• Interest in finance, financial analysis and business processes
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data
• Good communication skills and willingness to cooperate with different teams and stakeholders
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and openness to new challenges
• Availability for 3–5 days per week
