ABOUT PURE PEPTIDES

Pure Peptides is a fast-growing Dubai-based peptides company with an in-house laboratory and a rapidly expanding team. We operate at high volume, processing 100+ orders per day, serving both B2B clinic and doctor networks and direct consumers across the UAE, with active expansion into international markets.

We are looking for an experienced Finance Lead who can take ownership of the company’s day-to-day finance operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with UAE financial and tax requirements.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE

This is a hands-on finance position for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing daily transactions and reconciliations, supporting payroll and salary inputs, monitoring company expenses, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and applicable tax requirements.

You must be confident handling a high volume of orders and financial transactions without compromising accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFinance & Accounting

• Take ownership of day-to-day finance and accounting activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and reconcile incoming and outgoing payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, payment gateway, and account reconciliations.
• Track company expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
• Prepare regular financial reports for management.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain organised financial records and supporting documents.

UAE VAT & Tax Compliance

• Maintain compliance with UAE VAT and applicable tax requirements.
• Maintain accurate VAT records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of UAE VAT returns.
• Ensure transactions are correctly recorded for VAT purposes.
• Maintain proper tax invoices and financial documentation.
• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, or tax consultants when required.

High-Volume Orders & Transactions

• Manage financial records relating to 100+ orders per day.
• Reconcile high volumes of customer payments, orders, refunds, expenses, and other transactions.
• Ensure sales, order, and payment records reconcile accurately.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies quickly.
• Maintain accuracy during periods of high transaction volume.

Payroll & Salary Support

• Work closely with HR on monthly salary inputs.
• Verify approved attendance, overtime, deductions, adjustments, and other payroll information.
• Maintain accurate salary and payment records.
• Handle all salary and financial information with strict confidentiality.

Reporting & Financial Control

• Prepare regular financial summaries for management.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, outstanding payments, and financial obligations.
• Maintain clear and accurate financial trackers.
• Flag financial discrepancies, risks, or unusual transactions promptly.
• Provide accurate financial information to support management decision-making.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOREssential

• Proven experience in Finance, Accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with UAE VAT and tax requirements.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume orders and financial transactions.
• Strong bookkeeping and reconciliation skills.
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Strongly Preferred

• Previous finance/accounting experience with a UAE-based company.
• Experience in a high-volume e-commerce, pharmaceutical, healthcare, retail, or similar environment.
• Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
• Experience supporting payroll and salary reconciliation.
• Familiarity with UAE Corporate Tax requirements.
• Experience preparing financial reports for senior management.

THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF

• You do not have experience with UAE VAT and tax requirements.
• You have only worked with very low transaction volumes.
• You are not comfortable reconciling large numbers of daily transactions.
• You require significant supervision to complete routine finance tasks.
• You are not comfortable taking ownership of financial records and reporting.
• You struggle to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
