Role Overview We are looking for a Manager – Accounts Payable & Receivable to oversee the company’s day-to-day AP and AR operations, ensuring timely payments and collections, accurate reconciliations, and proper accounting records. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and hands-on experience in managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Key Responsibilities . Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations. . Monitor vendor and customer balances, follow up on outstanding payments and receivables, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. . Review and verify invoices, supporting documents, debit/credit notes, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies. . Ensure timely bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records. . Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and payment-related issues. . Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including provisions, outstanding entries, reconciliations, and reporting. . Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements related to AP and AR. . Prepare and share periodic reports on payables, receivables, ageing, collections, and cash flow requirements with management. . Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen controls, accuracy, and efficiency within AP and AR operations. . Lead and guide the finance team in day-to-day AP and AR activities and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills . B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance or equivalent qualification. . 6–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting with hands-on experience in both AP and AR. . Strong knowledge of accounting, reconciliations and month-end closing. . Good understanding of GST and taxation. . Strong Excel and accounting/ERP skills. . Excellent attention to detail and time management. . Good communication and stakeholder-management skills. . Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred . Experience in Real Estate, PropTech, FinTech or a startup environment. . Experience handling multiple entities/projects. . Experience working with auditors, vendors and customers.
