Accounting & Compliance

  • Oversee full financial operations including general ledger, AP/AR and billing
  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, FBT, RWT, etc.)
  • Manage payroll processes
  • Maintain robust internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Liaise with external advisors and auditors

Business Support

  • Support organisational performance improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to operational and financial strategy
  • Assist with HR-related processes and team development

Your Profile

You will be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a contract to permanent opportunity so you need to be available immediately.

Key requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a senior accounting role
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting capability
  • Solid understanding of New Zealand financial and tax legislation
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A desire and ability to be hands on
  • An ability to be visible and provide leadership at the wider organisational level.

Preferred:
