Finance Manager

Primary Function

The Finance Head is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the Company's finance organization. The role ensures financial integrity, regulatory compliance, effective financial planning, and sustainable business growth by overseeing General Accounting, Taxation, Sales Accounting, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Supply Chain Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The position also provides administrative oversight to the Internal Controls and Compliance functions to strengthen governance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

As a member of the leadership team, the Finance Head serves as a trusted business partner to Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (RRHI). The role provides financial insights and strategic recommendations that support sound business decisions, improve profitability, optimize working capital, and drive long-term value creation across Rose Pharmacy's retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead the overall finance function, ensuring sound financial management, governance, and alignment with the Company's strategic objectives.
• Oversee General Accounting, Taxation, Sales Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain Finance, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Direct the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and business performance analyses.
• Drive financial planning, cost optimization, profitability improvement, cash flow management, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, statutory requirements, and Company policies.
• Collaborate with Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. (RRHI) on corporate financial reporting, budgeting, governance, finance transformation initiatives, and other group-wide projects while ensuring alignment with corporate policies and standards.
• Provide administrative oversight of the Internal Controls and Compliance functions to strengthen governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making, business growth, operational excellence, and capital investments.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance organization by fostering collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and talent development.

Qualifications

• A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Certified Public Accountant is required.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior finance leadership role.
• Proven experience leading General Accounting, Taxation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain Finance.
• Strong background in retail, pharmacy, FMCG, distribution, or other multi-site organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, business partnering, governance, and finance transformation initiatives.
