Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning to support organizational goals.
• Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and other relevant regulations.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger management, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and cost accounting to ensure precise record-keeping.
• Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, risk management, investment oversight, and regulatory reporting to safeguard assets and optimize liquidity.
• Conduct risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies related to financial operations, compliance management, and industry-specific regulations.
• Supervise the finance team’s activities in financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and data analytics using advanced tools like Excel data analysis and other financial software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development initiatives, strategic planning projects, and industry trend assessments to foster growth opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition Standard) and other industry-specific accounting standards such as non-profit accounting or governmental accounting where applicable.
• Lead cost control initiatives by analyzing profit & loss statements, performing account analysis, and developing financial projection models for future planning.
• Support fiscal management through effective budget management, cost control measures, and continuous improvement of financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial management with a strong understanding of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS, GAAP, and industry-specific regulations.
• Proven expertise in corporate finance, risk management, governmental accounting or non-profit accounting as applicable.
• Demonstrated leadership in finance team management with excellent strategic management skills.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, financial software applications, Excel data analysis tools and data analytics platforms.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts including revenue management under ASC 606 standards and cost control techniques.
• Ability to interpret complex financial reports accurately while providing clear insights for decision-making purposes.
• Experience developing financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis; familiarity with investment management is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments while maintaining attention to detail in compliance management tasks.

Pay: $86,361.41 - $104,005.13 per year
