About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join our Central Region office on a full-time basis. In this strategic position, you will play a crucial role in managing financial accounting and reporting functions for our clients. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, and delivering high-quality financial reporting that supports informed business decision-making. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of financial management across our client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee financial accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or relevant accounting frameworks
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all financial reporting
• Conduct financial analysis and variance investigations to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audit activities
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts with meticulous attention to detail
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support to foster professional development
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and stakeholders, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Maintain comprehensive financial records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Minimum 5–7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting roles
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements under IFRS or local accounting standards
• Strong proficiency in accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modelling
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
• Experience leading and developing accounting teams
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance frameworks in your operating region
