The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a leading and well-established real estate and funds management business based in Sydney CBD.

This is an initial 3-6 month contract with a genuine pathway to permanent, providing an opportunity to join a high-performing finance team during a key reporting period.

The Role

• Preparing statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures

• Supporting half-year and year-end financial reporting and close processes

• Managing relationships and queries with external auditors

• Preparing and reviewing supporting workpapers and reconciliations

• Supporting tax calculations and trust-related reporting

• Identifying and addressing technical accounting matters

• Working closely with the Financial Controller, CFO and wider finance team

• Ensuring reporting deadlines and requirements are met

About You

• 5+ years relevant accounting and financial reporting experience

• Strong technical accounting knowledge across AASB/IFRS

• CA/CPA qualification or working towards

• Previous experience within real estate, property, funds management is highly desirable

• Big 4 audit or advisory experience is desirable

• Experience working with external auditors and managing audit processes

• Strong statutory reporting and financial statement preparation experience

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Immediate availability or 1 weeks' notice
