At Soul Coffee Company (Pvt) Ltd , we’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of our Finance function and play a key role in driving sustainable business growth.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. We’re looking for a commercially minded finance leader who can connect financial performance, operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic decision-making .

Key Responsibilities are;

• Finance Leadership
  • Lead and manage the Finance Department, ensuring efficient daily operations while developing and managing the finance team.
• Financial Planning & Strategy
  • Develop and manage financial strategies, annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans aligned with company objectives.
• Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and financial performance dashboards.
• Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with SLFRS/LKAS, Sri Lankan taxation requirements, statutory regulations, and internal corporate governance policies.
• Cash Flow & Working Capital
  • Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital, banking relationships, financing facilities, collections, supplier payments, and liquidity planning.
• Financial Performance
  • Monitor performance against budgets, analyse variances, and provide recommendations to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and business performance.
• Financial Analysis & Business Support
  • Conduct product costing, profitability analysis, business modelling, investment evaluations, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
• Controls, Inventory & Assets
  • Strengthen financial controls and accounting processes while ensuring proper inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, fixed asset management, and asset protection.
• Audit & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and work closely with auditors, banks, tax consultants, Sales, Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, and Senior Management.
• Finance Transformation & Team Development
  • Lead ERP improvements, process automation, reporting enhancements, cost optimization, and continuous improvement while building a high-performing Finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CA Sri Lanka / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in a finance leadership role.
• Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Distribution, or Retail will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SLFRS/LKAS, taxation, budgeting, financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, accounting software, MS Excel, and reporting/BI tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
