Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other relevant standards such as IAS (International Accounting Standards).
• Manage all aspects of corporate accounting functions including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, cost accounting, and cash flow analysis.
• Lead financial analysis efforts to interpret profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and other key reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and industry-specific financial regulations, including ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Supervise treasury management activities such as investment management, risk analysis, and liquidity optimization.
• Drive strategic initiatives related to business development, financial modeling development, data analytics tools utilization, and industry knowledge of financial regulations to support organizational growth.

Experience

• Proven experience in financial management or finance directorship roles within diverse sectors such as non-profit organizations or governmental agencies.
• Extensive background in accounting systems implementation and maintenance using advanced Excel data analysis skills and financial software platforms.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606 standards, and industry-specific financial regulations coupled with experience in public accounting or technical accounting roles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams effectively while managing multiple projects related to budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and risk management.
• Expertise in developing financial projection models and conducting detailed account analysis to support strategic planning efforts.
• Familiarity with industry best practices in risk management, compliance management, revenue management, and fiscal operations.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on fostering collaboration within finance teams while maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial report writing and interpretation.

Pay: $80,893.17 - $97,419.73 per year
