DOO you have what it takes

What you’ll be working on:

• Manage and ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly group consolidation and subsidiaries’ management accounts, including cash flow reporting.
• Prepare and review monthly financial summaries, commentaries, variance analysis, and management reports within stipulated deadlines.
• Handle consolidation for multiple entities and ensure intercompany transactions, eliminations, adjustments, and reporting schedules are properly reviewed and maintained.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded systematically and accurately in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate accounting records to support high-quality financial statements and management reports for senior management, board of directors, and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective finance processes, reporting controls, and internal controls related to transaction processing and group reporting.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of financial accounting, reporting, consolidation, and business support functions.
• Provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business decision-making and strategy execution.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, reporting workflows, policies, internal controls, and overall business flow.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government bodies on audit, taxation, banking, and financial matters.
• Lead, guide, and motivate the Finance and Accounts team to ensure smooth daily accounting operations and timely month-end closing.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance review for the Finance and Accounts team to maintain quality and achieve reporting deadlines.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, MIA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial finance experience, ideally with prior Big 4 audit exposure.
• Strong hands-on experience in group consolidation, preferably covering a sizeable group structure with multiple subsidiaries.
• Candidates with experience consolidating around 20–30 entities or more will be highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, intercompany transactions, and consolidation adjustments.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle complex reporting schedules.
• Good management, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently, solve problems, and meet tight reporting deadlines with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Kingdee ERP will be an added advantage.
• Inquisitive, responsible, detail-oriented, and with strong integrity.
