Job Title: AGM Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AGM Finance & Accounts to manage and coordinate key functions across Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation, Treasury, Working Capital, Compliance and Internal

Controls.

The role will work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, statutory compliance, effective controls and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Closing

• Manage accurate books of accounts in compliance with Indian GAAP and statutory requirements.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
• Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Monitor reconciliation of GL, bank, vendor and customer accounts.
• Drive process improvement and automation in accounting operations.

Financial Reporting & MIS

• Prepare periodic MIS including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and cost tracking.
• Support preparation of consolidated financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing with proper audit documentation.

Working Capital & Credit Control

• Monitor receivables, payables and inventory.
• Track ageing reports and ensure timely closure.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain and Operations teams for working capital requirements.
• Monitor bank limit utilisation and support related documentation.
• Contribute towards improving the cash conversion cycle.

Treasury & Banking

• Manage/support day-to-day treasury operations, fund transfers and banking transactions.
• Monitor CC/OD limits, LC, BG and bank renewals.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions.
• Maintain records of borrowings, interest calculations and bank covenants.

Taxation & Compliance

• Ensure timely TDS compliance, challans and return filings.
• Prepare tax computations and coordinate with consultants for assessments and audits.
• Ensure timely GST compliance across entities.
• Handle GST notices and audit documentation.
• Ensure ROC filings, statutory registers and Companies Act compliance documentation are completed within timelines.
• Coordinate with statutory, tax and internal auditors.

Internal Controls & Governance

• Implement finance SOPs and internal control processes.
• Ensure effective maker-checker controls and proper documentation.
• Conduct periodic internal reviews and identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and mentor finance, accounting, treasury and payroll teams.
• Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, HR and Operations.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants and banks.
• Provide timely financial information and support to management.
