FINANCE MANAGER

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and performance management activities. This position will provide financial insights to management, strengthen financial controls, and help ensure the company’s financial resources are managed effectively to support operational efficiency and long-term growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial plans, and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare and monitor revenue, expense, cash flow, and working capital projections.
• Analyze actual financial performance against budget and investigate significant variances.
• Conduct regular financial and business performance reviews.
• Identify financial risks, trends, and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management planning and decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting, Compliance & Audit

• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

• Utilize ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, for financial reporting, month-end closing, and financial data analysis.

• Oversee accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including vendor payments, employee reimbursements, bank transactions, and bank reconciliations.

• Ensure financial records and accounting documentation comply with applicable accounting standards, statutory requirements, internal controls, and company policies.

• Oversee annual business permit renewals and other statutory compliance requirements.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission of audit requirements and resolution of findings.

• Ensure audit and tax findings are properly addressed and appropriate responses or protests are prepared when necessary.

• Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time with complete supporting documentation.

• Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.

5. Leadership & Business Partnership

• Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and government requirements and ensure timely implementation.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support business growth, operational efficiency, and sound decision-making.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• CPA qualification is an advantage but not a strict requirement

• MBA or relevant postgraduate studies is a plus

• 7–10 years of solid experience in Finance, with demonstrated leadership and strategic decision-making exposure

• Industry experience in retail, distribution, or related sectors is preferred

• Proven expertise in budgeting, forecasting, treasury operations, tax management, and financial controls

• Experience handling high-volume transactions and sales- and inventory-intensive operations is an advantage

• Professional licensure is not required

• Willing and available to start immediately

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Full Onsite

OFFICE LOCATION: Las Piñas City, with an upcoming relocation to The Village Square- Alabang.
