Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the overall financial operations of Prestige Car care Group including Car trade, 63 Auto detailing, Infinity and E-Prestige, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, budgeting, taxation compliance, and internal financial controls. The role requires strong leadership, strategic financial planning, and hands-on experience in Auto Count Accounting System to support business growth across all branches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Management

• Manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.

• Monitor profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow.

• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to Management.

Budgeting & Financial Planning

• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget utilization and departmental expenses.

• Conduct financial analysis and cost control initiatives.

• Recommend strategies to improve profitability.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor daily cash flow.

• Ensure sufficient working capital.

• Manage banking facilities and loan repayments.

• Oversee collections and payment schedules.

Auto Count Accounting System

• Lead and manage the Auto Count Accounting System.

• Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

• Manage General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and Inventory.

• Generate financial reports through Auto Count.

• Coordinate Auto Count upgrades and troubleshoot system issues.

Taxation & Compliance

• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities.

• Ensure compliance with SST, Income Tax and statutory requirements.

• Prepare schedules for audit and tax submissions.

• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and financial regulations.

Internal Control & Risk Management

• Develop and improve internal financial controls.

• Ensure proper authorization of payments and expenditures.

• Conduct financial risk assessments.

• Prevent fraud and financial irregularities.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.

• Allocate work effectively and monitor staff performance.

• Conduct performance evaluations.

• Foster teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.

Business Support

• Support Management with financial decision-making.

• Prepare financial reports for Management Meetings.

• Evaluate investment and expansion proposals.

• Support new branch openings and business development initiatives.

Accountability

• Overall financial health of Prestige Car care Group.

• Accuracy of financial records and reports

• Compliance with statutory and reports

• Compliance with statutory and tax requirements

• Effective cash flow and cost management

• Leadership and development of the Finance Department

• Maintaining confidentiality of all financial information

REQUIREMENT & SKILLS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Professional ACCA / MIA / Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 5–8 years in Finance & Accounting and leadership role
• Experience in the automotive workshop, Corporate business and Retails industry
• Experience managing multi-branch operations is an advantage
• Knowledge of Auto Count Accounting System is an added advantage
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
