Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a growing manufacturing operation in Thailand. Reporting directly to the APAC Finance Director , this position will serve as a key finance business partner to local and regional leadership, ensuring strong financial governance while supporting strategic business growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to gain exposure across Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Manufacturing Finance, Cost Control, and Business Partnering within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all finance and accounting activities for the Thailand operation.
• Partner closely with the General Manager and APAC Finance Director to support business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting .
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes .
• Monitor and analyze P&L performance, business profitability, and financial KPIs .
• Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial performance.
• Support manufacturing operations through cost analysis, inventory management, and working capital control .
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities .
• Maintain compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies .
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities .
• Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial procedures .
• Support capital expenditure, investment analysis, and expansion initiatives .
• Collaborate with regional finance teams to ensure alignment with APAC and global reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvements in finance processes, reporting tools, and operational efficiency .

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of Finance & Accounting experience
• Big 4 audit background (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG) highly preferred
• Exposure to multinational manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and month-end closing
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Solid understanding of P&L management and business performance analysis
• Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing finance
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or equivalent
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent English communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a standalone finance leadership role
• Strong business partnering capability with senior management and cross-functional teams
• High level of ownership, learning agility, and adaptability
• Proactive, energetic, and hands-on personality
• Commercial mindset with the ability to support business growth and operational decision-making
