Are you a commercially minded Finance Manager looking to make a meaningful impact in a growing healthcare organisation?

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our Health & Wellbeing portfolio for a one year parental leave position, supporting a diverse group of businesses across rehabilitation, occupational health, and care pathways. Reporting to the Finance Director for that portfolio, this is a highly visible role that combines financial leadership, strategic business partnering, performance improvement, and commercial decision support.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operational leaders, influencing business performance, and driving financial excellence across a complex and purpose-led healthcare environment.

As Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial performance and strategic direction of our Health & Wellbeing businesses. You will work closely with the Finance Director, General Managers, and wider leadership team to provide insightful financial analysis, lead budgeting and forecasting activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading monthly financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Managing budgeting and reforecasting processes across the portfolio
• Providing commercial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Developing KPI frameworks, dashboards, and performance management tools
• Partnering with operational leaders to improve financial and operational outcomes
• Supporting investment decisions through robust business case development
• Driving financial controls, compliance, and audit activities
• Identifying opportunities for productivity gains, cost optimisation, and business growth
• Supporting finance system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you'll be a highly capable finance professional who combines technical expertise with strong commercial acumen and influencing skills.

You will have:

• CA, CPA, or equivalent Chartered Accounting qualification
• 5+ years' post-qualification experience in finance, commercial finance, or business partnering roles
• Exceptional financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting experience
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels
• Experience developing financial models, KPIs, and management reporting frameworks
• Advanced Excel and strong systems capability, including experience with Power BI and financial reporting tools such IBM and Business Central.
• A continuous improvement mindset and passion for driving performance outcomes
• Healthcare industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential
