Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the Finance Department as a Head of Department (HOD)
• Manage the hotel’s overall financial operations, accounting and financial controls
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Consolidate financial and operational reports from all departments for submission to the General Manager and HQ Finance
• Monitor hotel revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow and financial performance
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and budget variance analysis
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, credit control and collection
• Monitor daily revenue reconciliation, cashiering, banking and cash handling
• Oversee inventory, stock control, cost control and financial discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal controls
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on audit findings
• Provide financial analysis, advice and recommendations to the General Manager and HODs
• Work closely with HODs to improve cost efficiency, profitability and financial performance
• Liaise with HQ Finance on reporting, financial matters, compliance and special requirements
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team
• Support management in financial planning, business decisions and hotel projects
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by the General Manager and HQ Finance
