Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Oversee month-end closing and guide the team to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Monitor production costs and collaborate with operations to implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) and local tax regulations, including e-invoicing.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, supplier payments, and customer collections.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Provide financial support to cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, HR, and inventory.
• Coach and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Exposure to F&B or Retail Industry would be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in coaching and developing teams.
• Familiarity with inventory and procurement processes is a plus.
