Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the full Finance & Accounts function for NZ New Image Sdn Bhd.

The role is responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, statutory and tax compliance, cash flow management, audit coordination and providing reliable financial information to support management decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of finance functions for the Malaysia business, including general ledger, AR/AP, treasury and taxation.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare variance analysis, forecasts and financial insights to support management decisions.
• Oversee cash flow planning, fund management and treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory, tax and audit requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professional advisers.
• Lead audit preparation and ensure timely completion of annual audits.
• Develop, monitor and review annual budgets, forecasts and business plans.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
• Work closely with Operations and Warehouse on stock and inventory control.
• Coordinate with Head Office on member commission calculations and payments.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.
• Support finance-related system improvements and business improvement initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of MFRS, taxation, audit and Malaysian statutory requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience in financial reporting, month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting / ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to independently manage the Finance function with strong ownership and accountability.
• Experience in MLM/direct selling, retail or FMCG will be an added advantage.
