Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the daily industry and financial operations of our marketing agency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for full-set accounting, project costing, client invoicing, supplier payments, cash flow monitoring, payroll and management reporting.
As our business operates on a project basis, the Finance Manager will work closely with Account Servicing, Project and Management teams to monitor project budgets, costs and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts and cash flow summaries.
• Monitor project budgets, actual costs and overall project profitability.
• Monitor client invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Review supplier invoices and arrange payments according to approved budgets.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available for business operations.
• Assist management with annual budgeting, financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Approve payroll, staff reimbursements and related financial administration, and coordinate with external auditors, accountants and tax advisers on audit and tax matters.
• Maintain proper financial controls, approval procedures and supporting documentation.
• Provide management with financial analysis to support business and project decisions.

Requirements：

• Approximately 4–6 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Experience handling full-set accounts independently.
• Experience in a marketing agency, advertising agency, event company, production company or other project-based business is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, project costing and cash flow management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Able to communicate effectively with Account Servicing and Project teams.
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Familiar with AI tools.
