What they need
- Manage month-end and year-end closing and ensure timely, accurate financial and management reporting.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, profitability, cash flow, and budget performance.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures in accordance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Review daily revenue and ensure room, F&B, banquet, and other operating revenues are accurately recorded.
- Oversee income audit functions, investigate revenue discrepancies, and conduct periodic revenue and compliance audits.
- Oversee inventory control, monthly stock counts, stock variances, wastage, and operating costs.
- Monitor food, beverage, and operating supply costs and work with department heads on cost-control initiatives.
- Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company SOPs and CSAQ requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on audit recommendations.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, including tax, SST, withholding tax, e-Invoice, and required filings.
- Monitor finance-related contracts, documentation, and staff compliance with finance policies and procedures.
- Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process, review departmental budgets, and provide financial guidance to department heads.
