Finance Manager

About the role

Our Client is a well established small sized real estate player; a need has arisen to hire a finance professional to act as a business partner. You will be the cornerstone of financial strategy, translating complex data into actionable business insights to aid management's decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed financial performance reports, analyze operational variances, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Lead the annual budgeting cycles, generate rolling forecasts, and monitor cash flow requirements for ongoing operations
• Build robust financial models to evaluate the feasibility of potential property acquisitions and development ventures
• Partner with management to establish long-term economic goals and devise strategies to mitigate financial risks
• Manage full-set accounts, ensure compliance with local financial regulations, and serve as the primary liaison for auditors and banks

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Recognized professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, ideally within the property or real estate sector
• Strong commercial awareness and a deep understanding of real estate investment metrics
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and experience with accounting software
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (including Mandarin); ability to present complex data clearly to non-financial stakeholders
