Finance Manager

1. Manage the full set of Companies’ accounts and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial information in accordance with the relevant accounting standards. tax regulations and Companies act.

2. Prepare and present management accounts, financial reports, forecast, budget, analysis and other ad-hoc reports accurately and timely manner for management.

3. Prepare annual budget and update forecast to align with business unit’s planning and strategy

4. Oversee daily account and finance functions including accounts payables and receivables; general ledger, cash flow to ensure timely payment to suppliers/statutory bodies and customers’ collection

5. Oversee fixed assets management and inventory management together with product costing

6. Oversee risk management matters including Company’s insurance portfolio

7. Review and monitor timely submission of SST and e-invoicing

8. Plan, Coordinate and Coach Finance subordinates on day to day finance & administrative matters

9. Adhere to and advocate for Company’s policies, code of conduct and business ethics.

10. Liaise with external and internal auditors, company secretary, bankers, tax agents, and other professionals to ensure compliance with all applicable financial laws, tax regulations and financial standards including but not limited to Income Tax Act, Public Rulings, Sales and Service tax Act, Custom Act, Companies Act, BNM rulings, etc.

11. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, professional qualification (i.e. ACCA/CPA) is preferred

2. Minimum 8 years of working experience in similar role

3.Prior experience in manufacturing or project management is preferred

4. Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

5. Strong knowledge of Malaysian taxation, SST and MFRS

6. Strong communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills

7. Proficiency in financial management software and advance MS. Excel skills are an added advantage
