Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee financial management across multiple group entities, primarily supporting the Singapore business while also covering the US and Germany, including accounting, business performance analysis, budgeting, and cost and expense management.
2. Independently handle day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing, financial reporting, and group consolidation for overseas entities, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with local and Group requirements.
3. Manage manufacturing cost accounting, cost allocation, inventory closing, and cost analysis, and drive continuous improvements in cost management.
4. Lead budgeting, budget tracking, and business performance analysis, providing financial insights and support for business decision-making.
5. Manage cash, assets, inventory, and related internal controls, identifying and mitigating financial, tax, and operational risks.
6. Liaise with overseas auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other professional service providers to ensure financial and compliance matters across entities are properly implemented.
7. Drive improvements in overseas finance processes and financial systems, and collaborate effectively with Group Finance and overseas business teams.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a related discipline. CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CFA qualification is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of relevant finance experience. Experience in manufacturing, high-tech companies, or multinational corporations is preferred.
3. Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting, cost accounting, budgeting, and business performance analysis, with the ability to independently manage relevant finance functions.
4. Good knowledge of Singapore accounting and financial requirements. Experience managing finance for US, German, or other overseas entities is preferred; knowledge of US GAAP, HGB, or other relevant accounting standards would be an advantage.
5. Good understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and inventory management. Experience with mainstream ERP systems, particularly SAP, would be an advantage.
6. Proficiency in both English and Mandarin as working languages, with strong analytical skills, cross-regional collaboration capabilities, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
