Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is responsible for the company's financial planning, budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, cost control, and management reporting. The position ensures that company funds are properly planned and monitored and that Management receives timely financial information for decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor the annual company budget
• Consolidate branch and department budgets
• Monitor actual expenses against approved budgets and analyze significant variances
• Prepare financial forecasts and recommend corrective actions when needed
• Monitor the company's overall cash position and prepare cash flow forecasts
• Coordinate with Treasury on funding requirements and scheduled obligations
• Analyze company and branch financial performance
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budget-versus-actual reports, and financial performance summaries
• Supervise Finance personnel and assign duties and deadlines
• Review staff performance and quality of Finance deliverables

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting, Business Administration, or related course
• At least 5 years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cash flow, financial analysis, cost control, and management reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Experience in a multi-branch company, LPG, distribution, manufacturing, retail, or related industry is an advantage
