Finance Manager

ARCH Capital Management Co. Ltd. is a well-established Asia-focused private equity fund management and investment firm. We are seeking a talented and motivated professional to join our team in the following position:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly report and annual financial statements for Real Estate Funds/Partnerships.
• Liaise with joint venture partners, third-party service providers and auditors.
• Handle daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting functions.
• Prepare investor capital calls, distributions and capital account statements.
• Manage cash positions and prepare FX exposure reports for fund entities and affiliates, including monthly or quarterly cash flow forecasts.
• Support general administrative matters, including investment SPV set-up, KYC procedures, bank account opening, corporate secretarial paperwork and coordination with fund administrators and other third-party service providers.
• Assist with tax structuring matters for new investments or divestments, where required.
• Assist with ad hoc business requests, assignments and projects as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience with hands-on commercial exposure; experience in private equity funds or the real estate industry will be a distinct advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification is preferred.
• Solid experience with, and knowledge of, IFRS accounting standards.
• Detail-oriented, reliable and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Mature, positive, proactive and a strong team player.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, including Putonghua, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills: MS office (Words, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Immediate availability will be a distinct advantage.
