Finance Manager

We are looking for a Manager, Finance based in Rotterdam, on a permanent full-time contract.

The Manager, Finance is responsible for performing Finance duties to support business for Del Monte (Holland) BV & Del Monte (Germany) GmbH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• All Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end Reporting for both the German and Holland Entities.
• Internal Annual Reporting and Accounts for both the German & Holland Entities; local & US GAAP.
• Handling special reporting requests from regional office
• Develop & implement additional reporting methods to support management with business decisions
• Evaluation of key figures and providing information to local & regional management.
• Managing (motivating) staff Admin & Finance staff members located in Germany & Holland.
• First contact for IT relevant items, linked to UK IT and Monaco IT.
• In absence of the Senior Business Controller, take over responsibilities related to statutory reporting, product P&L’s and contact with (tax) advisors.

Skills required:

• Higher professional education in Finance/Accounting
• 5+ years in Finance with international companies
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch (German would be a bonus)
• Used to work closely with various departments in the business to ensure appropriate data is available and readily accessible
• Able to work independently
• Experienced ERP user
• Professional in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams…)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to listen, motivate, influence, and negotiate at all levels
• Creative problem solving combined with the ability to set priorities and work under pressure effectively
• Living in or around Rotterdam
• Having worked in a fruit & vegetable environment/company is a plus.
