Finance Manager

About the role

Lead the Finance and Accounting function in the organization providing assistance to the General Manager, cross functional Departments and management in complying with Accounting, Handling Audits (Statutory and Internal), Banking, MIS (Management Information System), BOI, Customs (Free zone), Revenue department, and overall Tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Control and lead overall finance department
• Analyze income and expenses
• Manage inventory movements, reporting, costing, and master data controlling
• Prepare and manage month end closing activities including sales reports, profitability reports, and financial forecasts
• Prepare and manage quarter closing activities including Hyperion web forms and support for Limited review
• Manage year-end closing activities, prepare annual audited financial statements, and arrange sign-off within GCO guidelines
• Coordinate end-to-end Statutory and Internal Audits
• Manage AP & AR controlling including reconciliations and bank reconciliations
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts and review all payments to ensure compliance with payment terms and cycles
• Monitor Forex exposure and coordinate with Global forex team for periodic submission and coverage with management approval

About you

• University Graduate, majoring in Accounting or Finance; CPA/MBA is an advantage
• CPD license is required
• Minimum 10 years working finance/accounting experience in a multi-national company, with at least 5 years at management level
• Good knowledge and experience of Free zone area rules and regulations
• Ability to get things done hands-on in a cross-functional environment
• Experience in managing the finance function of a manufacturing entity
• High self-initiative and strong reliability
• Accurate and detailed performance
• Good command of English (oral and written)
• Good team player and leader; experience in MS Office; QAD/SAP experience is preferred
