Finance Manager

GCC Solutions is looking for a Finance Manager for its Dubai office.

GCC Solutions is the corporate services arm of GCC Group, a Dubai-headquartered corporate services, legal structuring and capital markets group with offices in Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Kuwait.

This is a hands-on finance role in a small, multi-entity group. You will own the day-to-day finance function rather than supervise it — cashflow, payroll, client billing, reconciliations and filings all run through you, and there is no layer beneath you to pass them to.

Cashflow is the core of the job. Knowing what is coming in, what is going out, and what that means for the next sixty days is the thing the Managing Director will rely on you for.

Responsibilities

• Own cashflow management: forecasting, monitoring, and reporting position and outlook to the Managing Director
• Run monthly payroll across the group's entities, including WPS compliance and end-of-service calculations
• Manage the month-end close: accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements — position, profit or loss, cash flows and notes
• Own Accounts Receivable: client invoicing, ageing, collections and follow-up
• Own Accounts Payable: supplier invoices, payment scheduling, and prioritising statutory and government payments
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and Corporate Tax filings with the FTA, and keep supporting documentation audit-ready
• Maintain orderly finance records across entities and support the annual audit
• Track budgets against actuals and flag variances before they become problems
• Improve finance processes and controls as the group grows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Minimum five years in a finance role, including at least two in a managerial capacity
• Strong hands-on cashflow management experience — this is the core requirement
• Proven payroll management experience
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, and FTA filing requirements
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups and pivot tables
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Accurate, organised, and comfortable owning a function end to end
• Currently in the UAE with a transferable visa or eligible for a new employment visa

Preferred

• Professional qualification — ACCA, CPA, CMA or part-qualified
• Experience in professional services, corporate services or a multi-entity group
• Familiarity with Zoho Books or similar accounting systems
• Experience supporting an external audit

Shortlisted candidates complete a short written assessment covering cashflow, reconciliations and month-end treatment before interview. It is practical rather than theoretical — the same kind of work the role involves daily.
