Finance Manager

About the role
This role will play an important part in managing cash flow and treasury activities while overseeing accounting and tax matters to support the company’s financial stability and business operations.

Working day: Monday - Friday

Office Location: Laksi (MRT Pink Line)

Key responsibilities:

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash positions and provide real-time visibility to the CEO on cash allocation and utilization.
• Identify overspending areas and forecast cash reserves to anticipate potential shortfalls.
• Support effective cash planning and resource allocation.

Operational Finance

• Understand end-to-end business operations and align financial planning with operational realities and growth objectives.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights to support business decisions.

Treasury Management

• Oversee payments, receipts, and fund transfers to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
• Manage foreign exchange risks, currency exposure, and international payments.
• Oversee day-to-day treasury operations.

Tax, Compliance & Reporting

• Verify tax invoices and receipts for domestic and international export operations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and requirements.

Business Operations & Stakeholder Management

• Administer bank accounts and coordinate with banks, auditors, and accounting firms.
• Support business operations and growth through effective financial coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance or a related field.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into actionable operational insights.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze cash usage quickly for effective planning and resource allocation.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Technically savvy with the ability to work across multiple systems and cloud-based platforms.
• Supervisory experience leading teams, preferably in an SME or scale-up environment, with a focus on engagement and autonomy.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills with high EQ.
• Good command of English and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
