FINANCE MANAGER

About the role

The Financial Manager/Controller is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, accounting activities, budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls. The role ensures that financial records are accurate, compliant with applicable laws and regulations, and aligned with the company's business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the company's overall financial operations and accounting activities
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenues, and financial performance
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and financial plans
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management
• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records
• Develop and monitor annual budgets and analyze actual expenses against approved budgets
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of BIR requirements and other government financial obligations
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls and accounting procedures
• Supervise and guide accounting and finance personnel

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial management, or controllership
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting and taxation
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to management
• CPA certification is an advantage, particularly for a Financial Controller role
• Experience in manufacturing or trading companies is preferred
