Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with specific expertise in internal audit and company secretarial law. This role requires knowledge of financial regulations in Malaysia and the South East Asia region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full set of accounts, including bank transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, project accounts, and consolidated financial statements for the Group.
• Liaise and coordinate with banks, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other external parties.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and financial forecasts.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including management reports, for companies under the Group.
• Establish and maintain systematic filing and record-keeping systems (both physical and electronic) to ensure efficiency, clarity, security, and ease of access.
• Develop accounting policies to strengthen internal control.
• Work closely with the management to analysis findings.
• Deliver insightful analysis and recommendations, as necessary.
• Prepare Income Tax and Deferred Tax Computation.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or MIA membership is an added advantage
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Accounting or related fields.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Must possess an internal audit license and knowledge of company secretarial law.
• Previous work experience in the FMCG company is added advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in Malaysia and South East Asia country.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
