Finance Manager

At the R Hotel Group we are looking for a dedicated Finance Manager to ensure that we are sure to maximise monies coming in, money spent and all recording of it. We are not a huge group but consist of the Jubilee Hotel, incorporating the hotel, the Three Chimneys Smokehouse and Grill, the Secret Garden Spa and Escape Dungeons. Other Restaurants and There are also other properties that we maintain.

We are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the financial health of the business and play a key role in driving its financial strategy and planning.

• Manage and supervise the finances, including setting objectives and evaluating performance

• Develop financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals

• Oversee financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections

• This could be a live in role and is open to overseas applicants with excellent experience and qualifications.

• Monitor cash flow, budget variances, and financial performance metrics

• Analyse financial data to provide insights and support decision-making

• Implement cost control measures to maximise profitability

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Proficiency in accounts payable, financial accounting, financial services, financial planning, and financial management

• Strong leadership skills to manage a finance team effectively

• Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with the Director and other managers.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

• Proven track record in implementing cost-saving initiatives
