Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Senior Manager – FP&A & Project Finance to manage financial planning, project finance, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, management reporting, working capital and cash-flow management.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified CA with 6–12 years of post-qualification experience and strong exposure to project finance and financial analysis. Experience in IPO / fund-raising activities will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-term business planning.
• Analyze project-wise profitability, cost variances and margins.
• Prepare monthly MIS, management reports and dashboards.
• Conduct Actual vs Budget vs Forecast variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Monitor cash-flow forecasts and funding requirements.
• Support tax planning and transaction structuring.

Project Accounting & Cost Control

• Manage project-level accounting and ensure accurate cost capture and revenue recognition.
• Monitor WIP, POC and billing milestones.
• Track project-wise labour, material, subcontracting and overhead costs.
• Monitor project budgets versus actuals and identify financial risks.
• Control cost overruns and support margin protection.

Core Finance & Accounting

• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage revenue recognition for long-term contracts.
• Supervise invoice processing, collections and vendor payments.
• Ensure strong internal controls and financial governance.

SAP / ERP & Process Improvement

• Act as the finance lead for SAP FI/CO modules.
• Drive automation, digitalization and process improvements.
• Coordinate with IT for system enhancements, reporting tools and integrations.

Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

• Optimize receivables, payables and inventory.
• Monitor customer billing cycles, collections and retention payments.
• Manage banking, cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning.
• Support funding strategies and lender reporting requirements.
