Finance Manager

About the role

Sysmex Hong Kong Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our finance team in Tsim Sha Tsui. This is a full-time position offering a strategic opportunity to take ownership of financial management activities across our operations. As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and the provision of financial insights to support business decision-making. This role requires someone who can work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic business environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
2. Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and variance reports
3. Managing budgeting and forecasting processes, working with department heads to develop financial plans and monitor performance
4. Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls and financial procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy
5. Conducting financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies
6. Managing cash flow and working capital to optimise financial resources
7. Liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit activities
8. Providing financial support to senior management for strategic planning and business development initiatives
9. Responsible for tax Compliance & administration
10. Supervising and coaching accounting team members, oversee daily operations and staff development

What we're looking for

1. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICPA, CPA or equivalent recognised credentials
2. Minimum 5 years' experience in finance management or a similar accounting role within a commercial environment
3. Comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation regulations and Hong Kong accounting practices
4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
5. Practical working knowledge of AI applications within finance and accounting
6. Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and adaptable personality
7. Experience in using SAP system is preferable
8. Experience in IVD company or medical device sector would be advantageous
