Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and management reports to support business planning and decision-making
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances and provide recommendations for improvement to team leader
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely financial reporting
• Deliver accounting operations duties, including managing general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities and banking relationships
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements and internal policies
• Maintain effective internal controls and support audit and tax compliance activities
• Partner with internal stakeholders on budgeting, cost control and financial analysis
• Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Professional qualification such as HKICPA or equivalent is required
• At least 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis and treasury, preferably from sizable corporations, public organizations and Big 4 accounting firms
• Exposure to real estate or construction sector is highly preferred
• Exceptional cross-division coordination and communication skills, with self-driven ability to achieve excellent results
• Hands on, mature, reliable, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance and regulatory frameworks, ideally within public-sector or quasi-government contexts
• High level of maturity and be able to work under pressure and a fast-paced environment
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including in Putonghua
