Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts/Finance Manager to establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, and managing accounting staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information
• Manage accounting staff through recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining
• Contribute accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
• Prepare and complete action plans and implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards
• Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, schedule expenditures, and conduct accounts closing
• Monitor revenue and expenses and coordinate collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data
• Establish chart of accounts and define accounting policies and procedures
• Maintain financial security by establishing internal controls
• Consolidate group of companies by reporting subsidiary balances in combined statements
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required by management

About you

• Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Knowledge in SQL system
• Prior working experience in the rubber industry
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in import and export documentations, bank documentation (LC and DP process), custom procedures, indirect taxes (VAT/GST, SST)
• Experience developing budgets
• Knowledge of legal compliance and SFAS rules
• Ability to lead team and organize effectively
• Team player with ability to motivate others
