Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring effective risk management and fiscal discipline.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, adhering to GAAP, IFRS, and ASC 606 standards.
• Manage budgeting processes, financial projections, and forecasting models to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
• Supervise accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and industry-specific financial regulations through diligent monitoring and documentation.
• Oversee treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment oversight, and risk mitigation strategies within governmental or non-profit contexts as applicable.
• Lead a team of finance professionals by providing mentorship, fostering professional development, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in financial operations.

Skills

• Extensive experience in accounting systems, financial software, Excel data analysis tools, and data analytics platforms for insightful reporting.
• Deep knowledge of IAS (International Accounting Standards), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and industry-specific financial regulations.
• Proven expertise in corporate finance, cost control, risk analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of governmental or non-profit accounting practices along with regulatory compliance management.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing finance teams in fast-paced environments; ability to develop financial models and interpret complex financial reports effectively.
• Proficiency in technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, revenue management, general ledger reconciliation, and bookkeepingsystems.
• Ability to utilize financial concepts for investment management, profit & loss analysis, cash flow optimization, and cost management initiatives.
• Exceptional communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $84,858.77 - $117,378.30 per year
