Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and management reports.
• Oversee general ledger activities and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Provide financial insights and support senior management in strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Support regulatory reporting, internal audits, and external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, operational efficiency, and financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Qualified accountant (e.g., CPA, ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent) is highly preferred;
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within the banking or financial services industry; Candidates with audit experience is a plus.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with banking regulations, licensing requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
