Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, fixed assets, and cost accounting.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis to support business objectives.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing strategic recommendations and insights to management for decision-making.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance matters, including preparation and submission of corporate tax, SST, withholding tax, and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, government authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Lead and support annual external audits, internal audits, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, regulatory standards, and group reporting requirements for a Singapore-listed company.
• Support business expansion, investment evaluation, and other strategic initiatives through financial analysis and feasibility studies.
• Manage, coach, and develop the finance team to enhance competency and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights and support operational excellence.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation regulations, and financial best practices.
• Undertake any other duties assigned by immediate superior or management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, statutory compliance, and corporate governance.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in a Singapore-listed company environment will be an added advantage.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a finance team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of English, Malay, and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Good working attitude, self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
