Finance Manager

About the role

We're looking for a dynamic Finance Manager based in Malaysia who will be at the heart of our Singapore operations. This role involves driving financial insights, shaping strategies, and being part of a team that values innovation and efficiency. You'll own the financial closing process, ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations, and provide data-driven analysis to support senior management decision-making. The role evolves over time—starting with financial operations and transitioning into strategic finance and FP&A.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial closing process—monthly and annually—ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements with precision
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, IFRS, and Singaporean financial regulations
• Keep an eye on cash flow, ensuring stability and financial agility
• Build and maintain financial forecasting models that drive smarter business decisions
• Analyze financial performance, uncover insights, and provide recommendations that matter
• Manage external audits, making sure everything is up to standard and audit-ready
• Generate high-quality financial reports that inform leadership and guide strategy
• Provide sharp, data-backed analysis to help senior management make the right calls
• Support and oversee transactional finance activities in the initial phase, keeping operations seamless

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in financial management
• Strong expertise in IFRS and a solid track record of preparing audited financial reports
• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Excel
• Sharp analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
• Strong communication skills—able to break down financial data for non-financial stakeholders
• A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve and optimize processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where deadlines matter
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus
• Experience with Shared Services Centres (SSC) and finance process migration is a plus
