Finance Manager

Overall Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the monthly closing is done within the stipulated time period as directed by the Group team
• Preparation of the monthly management report including reasons for variances against the

budget as well as the prior period reported

• Handling the accounting closing process for the month, quarter and the year
• Acting as the focal person for the auditors’ requirements/requests
• Ensuring the audits are concluded in a timely manner with minimal audit adjustments
• Review and monitor the internal control environment of the company and ensure any and all

weaknesses are addressed in a timely manner

• Preparing ad hoc reports for the senior management for decision making purposes
• Recommending management for cost optimization opportunities

Requirements:

• CA/ACCA qualified with PQE of 5 years
• Experience with ERP implementation and integration of systems
• Experience with leading teams
• Experience with dealing with banks
• Must be proficient with MS Excel (advance user)
• Ideally would have worked in a multi-dimensional environment involving coordination and
• working hand in hand with other departments as well as with other group entities
• Knowledge of tax and corporate laws
• Experience with working on Oracle Netsuite is an added advantage
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 and hand on experience of implementing the standard
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
