Finance / Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall financial operations of the organization.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business decisions.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure effective cash management.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of ledgers, bank accounts, and financial records.
• Analyze expenses, financial performance, and profit margins to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support tax filings and other statutory requirements.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to align financial plans with business goals.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor finance staff to ensure strong team performance.
• Maintain effective internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support strategic planning and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
• Minimum of 5 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide clear recommendations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, and variance analysis.
• Experience with accounting processes such as general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and audit procedures relevant to retail or consumer goods industries.
• Advanced skills in spreadsheet and financial software tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, accounting / ERP systems), with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-branch operations is preferred, along with familiarity with inventory and cost control practices.
