About the Company

The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting, following the SA tax Regulation.

About the Role

Responsibilities include leading financial meetings, completing financial accounting and forecasting, delivering reports and metrics to leadership, preparing and managing annual financial statements and annual returns, ensuring compliance with SARS and CIPC regulations, handling month-end and year-end financial processes, preparing and submitting statutory reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Additionally, you will provide financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting to support business decision-making, manage and improve financial systems and processes, plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization, make estimates of funds required for the short and long term financial objectives of the organization, complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process, and conduct monthly financial forecasts, as well as develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Finance or Auditing degree is essential
• Experience: Solid, proven experience in financial management roles
• Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP or Sage is essential
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
